Daycare Lead Infant and Toddler Teacher - Montessori Unlimited, Irvine Blvd

About the Role

We’re hiring an Infant/Toddler Lead Teacher to join our Montessori school, where trained, dedicated educators provide an authentic Montessori experience in an early education setting. With mixed-age classrooms and carefully curated Montessori materials, we guide young learners to become innovative thinkers, good citizens, and able leaders. This role is ideal for difference makers who inspire children to become lifelong learners.

Responsibilities

• Follow all licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child in your classroom.
• Develop your ability to accurately observe, assess, and plan for children, as well as effectively communicate with families.
• Complete extensive training on child care, preschool, and development topics.
• Implement our proprietary curriculum while creating fun, interactive learning experiences for children.
• Work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of experience leading an early childhood classroom and creating educational lesson plans in a licensed center.
• Minimum of 12 Early Childhood Education units.
• Ability to meet state requirements for background checks, immunizations, CPR/First Aid, and mandated reporter training.
• Able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Pay

Lead Teacher compensation ranges from $21.51 to $23.91 per hour, based on position, education, and experience. Bi-weekly and daily pay options are available.
