Atlantic Coast Recycling is looking for a safety-conscious Lead Industrial Mechanic to join our team at our recycling facility in Passaic, NJ.
Responsibilities
- Performs inspections, diagnosis, and repair of electrical, air, and hydraulic systems on MVR equipment such as conveyors, paper and cardboard screen, ballistic screen, optical screen, balers, and others.
- Power washes heavy equipment during routine preventative maintenance.
- Completes required paperwork utilizing equipment maintenance software program.
- Reviews and completes repairs identified on Daily Inspection Reports.
- Conducts safety checks on vehicles and equipment.
- Performs service calls for emergency breakdowns that may take place in the MRF.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the day.
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
- Previous experience on industrial machinery.
