About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MR Technologist to join our team at NewYork-Presbyterian/Lower Manhattan Hospital. In this role, you will assist with the diagnosis of rare and complex cases, utilizing your expertise in MR and knowledge of Radiology Information Systems, PACSs, and digital data transfer processes. You will play a critical role in maintaining our premier level of quality, supporting a world-class clinical team.

Now offering a competitive sign-on bonus up to $10,000, commensurate with experience. New graduates are eligible.

Schedule

This is a full-time position, working Tuesday through Saturday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM.

Responsibilities

  • Operate MR imaging equipment to diagnose challenging conditions.
  • Apply knowledge of Radiology Information Systems, PACSs, and digital data transfer processes.
  • Maintain premier quality standards in support of a world-class clinical team.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited radiography program.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • ARRT certification in radiography.
  • MR certification by the ARRT.
  • New York State license in radiography and certified by New York State to inject contrast media.
  • At least 5 years of experience in diagnostic imaging.
  • Competency in MR.
  • Must live within a commutable distance to NYP (on-site presence required).

Pay

Salary range: $62.75 – $73.65 per hour.
