Lead HVAC Technician – Residential and Commercial

Responsibilities

• Makes repairs and performs preventative HVAC maintenance.
• Completes jobs on schedule and maintains quality control, completing paperwork accurately.
• Collaborates with Operation Managers (Building, HVAC) to coordinate work schedules.
• Displays proper company image to potential clients and within the community.
• Buils strong, productive client and subcontractor relationships.
• Performs general laborer duties as needed.
• Maintains safe delivery and handling practices and follows all company Safety for Life policies.

Requirements

• Knowledge of or ability to perform tasks in HVAC and many trades, including commercial and residential (e.g., carpentry, basic plumbing, basic electrical, masonry, mechanical knowledge, basic roofing, safe power tool use, flooring, sheetrock, plaster skills).

• Able to meet physical demands: talk, sit, stand, stoop, bend, climb ladders, 5 floors of stairs, bend, kneel, crawl, maneuver in and around all kinds of equipment, lift a minimum of 75 pounds to waist height, excellent hand-eye coordination, excellent vision or corrected vision, excellent hearing.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; college degree or trade certification in job-related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction or maintenance-related jobs.
• Excellent driving record; must grant permission for release of Virginia Motor Vehicle Record.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Willingness to take a drug test and authorize a background check.
