Lead HVAC Service Technician / Journeyman

About the role

Ely Heating And Cooling LLC is seeking an experienced Lead HVAC Service Technician / Journeyman to join our growing operations in Waynesburg, PA. This is your chance to handle critical service, maintenance, and installations across a diverse variety of settings—ranging from residential homes to commercial, industrial, and government facilities. Responsibilities

• Accurately diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex HVAC systems across residential, commercial, and industrial environments.
• Expertly install new HVAC equipment, ductwork, and control systems strictly according to local codes and manufacturer specifications.
• Perform thorough routine maintenance and seasonal system checks to maximize equipment lifespan and efficiency.
• Communicate clearly and respectfully with clients to recommend long-term solutions and ensure smooth scheduling.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment, follow all site-specific safety protocols, and accurately complete detailed work orders and time logs.

Qualifications

• 5 years of hands-on, professional HVAC experience strongly preferred.
• Valid EPA Certification required.
• Exceptional diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with proven ability to work independently in the field.
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
• Excellent customer service skills, strong self-motivation, and high level of personal accountability.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Pay

$28.00 – $40.00 per hour (based on experience) + performance bonuses.

Schedule

Monday – Friday with a fair, rotating on-call schedule.
