Responsibilities
- Install residential HVAC systems per company standards and manufacturer specs
- Design, fabricate, and install ductwork and fittings
- Perform start-up, testing, and basic diagnostics
- Maintain clean job sites and use floor protection
- Oversee and train Installation Assistants on proper installation practices
- Communicate professionally with customers and address questions or concerns
- Complete installation forms, checklists, and customer sign-offs
- Maintain organized tools, truck inventory, and ensure vehicle is in safe condition
- Follow all safety procedures and attend required training
- Protect customer property and uphold company ethics and performance standards
Requirements
- 3+ years of residential HVAC installation experience
- Knowledge of HVAC equipment, duct design, and installation requirements
- Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and installation manuals
- Skilled in electrical, refrigerant, and duct systems
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Able to pass background check and drug screen
- EPA Certification required; NATE Certification preferred
- Must have appropriate hand and power tools
- Lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Work in attics, crawl spaces, and confined areas
- Able to climb ladders, kneel, bend, and stand for extended periods
- Work in varying weather conditions
- Good near, far, and peripheral vision (natural or corrected)
Qualifications
- Preferably EPA Certification and NATE Certification
