Responsibilities
- Lead and perform complex troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of commercial HVAC systems
- Support, mentor, and train junior technicians in the field
- Oversee job quality, safety compliance, and workmanship standards
- Communicate clearly with customers about system conditions, findings, and repair options
- Identify repair, upgrade, and preventative maintenance opportunities
- Cook up with dispatch, service management, and parts teams to ensure efficient service delivery
- Verify that all work meets manufacturer, code, and company standards
- Complete detailed service documentation and job reporting
- Participate in on-call rotations and emergency response when required
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED
- HVAC technical school or equivalent training
- EPA Section 608 certification
- Valid Montana driver’s license and insurable driving record
- 5+ years of commercial HVAC service experience
- Prior leadership, mentoring, or field supervision experience
- Experience with rooftop units, boilers, chillers, controls, and building automation systems
