TruBlue Home Service Ally is a growing home services company providing trusted handyman repairs, home maintenance, and safety upgrades to homeowners. As part of a national franchise system with over 120 locations, TruBlue combines the resources of an established brand with the personal service of a local business. We specialize in helping seniors age safely and independently in their homes, as well as providing dependable home maintenance and repair services for busy families and homeowners.

We're seeking an experienced Lead Home Service Technician / Handyman ready to take the next step in their career—someone who can lead by example, mentor other technicians, communicate confidently with customers, and take pride in delivering exceptional workmanship.

Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality home maintenance, repair, and remodeling projects
  • Lead, coach, and support a team of Tru-Pro® technicians
  • Serve as a resource and mentor to less-experienced technicians
  • Ensure projects are completed safely, accurately, and efficiently
  • Communicate professionally with customers and help manage expectations on-site
  • Identify problems and develop practical solutions
  • Maintain TruBlue's high standards for workmanship, professionalism, and customer service
  • Ensure jobsites are clean, organized, and treated with respect
  • Represent TruBlue professionally in customers' homes and throughout the community

  • Bathroom and kitchen upgrades
  • Drywall repair, patching, and finishing
  • Flooring installation and repair
  • General carpentry
  • Door, trim, and finish work
  • Interior and exterior painting
  • General home repairs and maintenance
  • Basic plumbing and electrical work within the appropriate scope
  • Home safety and accessibility upgrades
  • Other residential remodeling and improvement projects

Requirements

  • 10+ years of hands-on home repair, remodeling, or construction experience
  • Experience managing, training, or mentoring other technicians (preferred)
  • Strong carpentry and general home repair skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Ability to work independently while supporting a team
  • Professional, positive, and customer-focused attitude
  • Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
  • Pride in doing the job right and supporting customers and teammates
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Complete set of professional tools
  • Fluent English communication skills
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States
