Lead Home Service Technician / Handyman

About the role

TruBlue is seeking a Lead Home Service Technician (Handyman/Handywoman) for their team in East Manatee. This role involves leading and supporting a team of technicians while providing high-quality handyman services.

Responsibilities

• Perform general home repairs including carpentry, drywall, painting, minor plumbing, and electrical work.
• Upgrade or remodel bathrooms, repair drywall, patch and caulk, install flooring, perform general carpentry, handle general home repairs, and assist with kitchen repairs or remodeling.
• Handle minor plumbing and electrical work, and conduct interior and exterior painting.
• Lead and support a team of technicians.

Requirements

• 5+ years of paid experience in carpentry or handyman work.
• A valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle.
• Standard handyman tools.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should be comfortable performing general home repairs, take pride in their work, enjoy helping customers, and love working with people.

Skills

Licensed tradespeople are welcome to apply, but licensing is not required.
