About the role

We are seeking a Lead Home Service Technician to help build the premier home services company in the South Savannah area. This is more than just another handyman position. We are looking for a dependable professional who wants to become a key member of our team and help establish a trusted local brand built on integrity, professionalism, and outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Perform residential repairs, maintenance, and home improvement projects
  • Complete work involving drywall, painting, flooring, trim, doors, cabinetry, and general carpentry
  • Perform minor plumbing and minor electrical repairs within company guidelines
  • Install grab bars, handrails, safety modifications, and aging-in-place solutions
  • Diagnose problems and develop practical repair solutions
  • Communicate professionally with customers and explain work being performed
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and represent the TruBlue brand professionally
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
  • Document completed work and communicate effectively with office staff
  • Help establish standards, processes, and a reputation for excellence as the company grows

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of paid handyman, remodeling, maintenance, home repair, property maintenance, or residential construction experience
  • Strong knowledge of residential repair and maintenance practices
  • Experience with drywall, painting, flooring, trim work, doors, cabinetry, and general carpentry
  • Basic plumbing and electrical troubleshooting experience
  • Ability to independently complete a wide variety of residential service projects
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check
  • Comfortable working in occupied homes, including homes of seniors and vulnerable adults
  • Must own and maintain professional-grade hand tools

Pay

$28-$38 per hour based on experience + performance bonuses

Full-Time | Monday-Friday | Day Shift
