Lead Heavy Equipment Mechanic- Up to $5k Sign On Bonus

About the role

WIN Waste Innovations is looking for a Lead Heavy Equipment Mechanic to repair and maintain our fleet of heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair heavy equipment
• Read and interpret Vehicle Condition Reports and repair orders
• Communicate with supervisor and equipment operators for clarification of maintenance needs
• Complete paperwork associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and account for applied times
• Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with OSHA and organizational standards
• Train and develop junior technicians
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned
• Maintain a positive work environment by acting and communicating in a manner that fosters good relationships with customers, clients, vendors, co-workers, and management

Requirements

• Equivalent of (1) high school diploma or G.E.D. certification and 4 years of related equipment maintenance and repair; OR (2) 6 years of related equipment maintenance and repair
• Valid driver license

Physical Requirements

• Handle tools and equipment, requiring fine motor skills
• Reach with hands and arms
• Climb and walk on heights often greater than 4 feet
• Occasionally lift equipment weighing up to 50 lbs
