About the role

The Dallas Arboretum is seeking a Lead, Guest Experience Ticket Booth professional to enhance the guest experience and lead a dynamic team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire guide, coach, and support team members in daily operations
  • Foster a positive, high-energy, and collaborative team environment
  • Deliver exceptional guest experiences by greeting and assisting guests with warmth and professionalism (in person and over the phone)
  • Help guests book tickets and navigate their visit with ease
  • Answer questions about the garden, events, and offerings
  • Serve as the first point of contact for resolving guest concerns with empathy and professionalism
  • De-escalate situations and turn challenges into positive experiences
  • Support efficient operations by ensuring team adherence to Dallas Arboretum policies and service standards
  • Aid in basic cash handling and ticketing processes
  • Step in wherever needed across Guest Experience department to keep things running smoothly

Requirements

  • High school graduate or G.E.D.
  • Customer service experience required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer experience required (Microsoft Office products)
  • Physical ability to sit, stand and/or walk for extended periods indoors and outdoors regardless of weather conditions
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and seasonal evening hours
  • Ability to pass all pre-employment requirements including a background check and drug test
