Lead Guard

Key Responsibilities

• Directly supervise on-site ESS Operator / Security Guard personnel
• Oversee and personally perform assigned ESS, access control, screening, and related security duties as required
• Provide immediate guidance during security incidents and lead first-level incident response
• Conduct quality control reviews of operational reports and records before submission to the Supervisor
• Manage shift schedules, conduct guard briefings, and review operational logs for accuracy
• Manage access control points, personnel screening, vehicle screening, and enforcement of security policies and procedures
• Maintain and review Government security records, including alarm and intrusion detection documentation

Requirements

• Minimum two (2) years of experience in physical security operations
• Must possess and maintain an active U.S. SECRET security clearance for the life of the contract
• Demonstrated leadership experience, such as Shift Supervisor or Team Lead
• Hands-on experience operating and monitoring Electronic Security Systems (ESS), managing access control points, and conducting operator-level system checks
• Proficiency in shift scheduling, guard briefings, operational log review, and first-level incident response
• Strong background in personnel screening, vehicle screening, and enforcement of security policies and procedures
