Lead Grounds (Glacier Park Lodge)
About the role
This is a full-time, seasonal position as part of our Spring/Summer 2026 hiring. The role is expected to run from March 27, 2026, through September 1, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Supervises, coordinates, and assists grounds team members in daily operations of grounds and gardening
- Be involved in all aspects of standard golf course and outdoor grounds maintenance: mowing, trimming, gardening, general beautification of grounds
- Repair fences, gates, walls, and walks using masonry or other tools as required.
- Maintain all areas around hotel, lodge, cabins, and RV park
- Regularly use power equipment such as a variety of mowers, trimmers, blowers, chainsaws, etc.
- May be asked to assist with trash removal and hauling
- Fills propane tanks for RV park guests
- Keeps record of potential safety and maintenance issues and communicates details to supervisor
- Be a utility player who can complete a variety of job duties
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience in golf course/hotel groundskeeping operations and maintenance required
- Valid drivers’ license required
- Requires substantial knowledge of flower plantings, bed care, and selection of appropriate materials
- Project management skills required
- Experience operating a variety of power equipment required
- Work-ethic and commitment to the team and guest is key
- Be willing and able to work solo or as part of a team
- Commitment to Safety First and the highest quality of cleaning & sanitizing standards
- Be organized with a great eye for detail
- Be kind to others and always bring your best
- Be a good communicator, always suggesting ideas and solutions
Qualifications
- Starting wage for this role is $18.25/hour
Skills
- Minimum 5 years' experience in golf course/hotel groundskeeping operations and maintenance
- Valid drivers’ license
