About the company
A1 is building a proactive smart assistant for everyday users to bring intelligence to conversations, errands, organizing, and workflows with minimal prompting. Our mission is to create an AI-native product that achieves high reliability for long-running workflows, persistent context, and real-world task completion. The system handles multi-step reasoning, interacts with external tools, and remains reliable despite non-deterministic model behavior, aiming to help users complete tasks with over ~90% reduced time.

- Work with product and UX designers to translate interaction flows into polished, accessible visual designs.
- Build and maintain a design system that supports speed, consistency, and clarity.
- Define visual standards for error states, empty states, loading states, task states, and AI-generated output.
- Contribute visual assets and design specs that engineers can implement accurately.
- Make AI-heavy interfaces feel clear and structured without overwhelming users.

How we work
The best products today were built by small, world-class teams. We are a high-talent-density, hands-on team that makes decisions collectively, moves at rapid speed, and balances shipping high-quality work with learning. Joining our team requires the ability to bring structure, exercise judgment, and execute independently.
