Lead Graphic Designer
About the role
We’re seeking a Lead Product Designer to elevate the quality, strategy, and impact of product design across Givelify’s mobile and web experiences. You’ll drive design excellence, guide cross-functional alignment, and shape end-to-end product vision—from discovery through delivery. In this role, you’ll combine hands-on design leadership with systems-level thinking to create simple, inspiring, and scalable product experiences for our giving community.
The Creative Team
Givelify’s Creative Team produces the experiences that wow our audiences and users. We consistently deliver world-class design and creativity across the entire business, serving our customers in collaboration with product, technology, marketing, support, and operations. This role reports to the Director of Product Design.
Responsibilities
- Drive Product Design Initiatives: Lead design initiatives, imagine novel solutions, and guide cross-functional teams toward cohesive product outcomes. Move fluidly across the entire design process—from problem framing to high-fidelity prototypes—and elevate complexity into elegant simplicity.
- Own End-to-End Design Execution: Ensure successful delivery of product experiences by driving all phases of design work, from discovery and solution ideation to refined interfaces and engineering handoff. Set the standard for quality, clarity, and completeness.
- Optimize Design Operations & Efficiency: Maximize throughput and design velocity by shaping and owning design operations for your scope of work. Establish structure, anticipate needs, remove friction, and scale effective design practices across teams.
- Quality Elevation & Feedback Culture: Continuously raise the bar for design excellence by soliciting, synthesizing, and acting on feedback from stakeholders. Model a culture of “feedback is fuel” to strengthen both the work and the team.
- Apply Human-Centered Design for Major Initiatives: Shape end-to-end product experiences by driving cross-functional conversations, orchestrating user flows, and guiding teams from concept through launch with a deeply human-centered approach.
- Lead Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate strategically with Product, Engineering, and senior cross-functional leaders to influence priorities, illuminate trade-offs, and ensure every touchpoint reflects Givelify’s mission and strategic objectives.
- Drive Insight-Informed Decision Making: Embed a deep understanding of Givelify’s audiences and business strategy into design decisions, representing the customer perspective at all times to guide product direction and elevate design quality.
- Advance the Design System & Standards: Drive growth and adoption of the Givelify Design System—ensuring scalable, consistent, and brand-aligned experiences across platforms while coaching teams on best practices.
