Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Takes a key role in the oversight and implementation of all grant writing and funding sources regarding all programs to fulfill the mission and purpose of the PRCC within the community of wellness perspective
- Writes to support all development efforts in maintaining funding sources, protocols, and procedures
- Supports all fundraising with quarterly reports of such activities presented to the Chief of Staff
- Supports all responsibilities of PRCC Development staff, including regular meetings with staff and updates on grant submissions and continuation applications and required reports
- Attends the PRCC and program-specific and organizational activities and meetings, including but not limited to the monthly organization-wide General Assembly
- Participates in organizational annual events including but not limited to the Puerto Rican People’s Parade, Fiesta Boricua, Three Kings Day, and Haunted Paseo Boricua
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree with relevant experience of 3+ years in Federal and local grant writing, with an understanding of grant submissions
- Experience in program coordination and grant writing
Skills
- Bilingual - English/Spanish preferred
- Demonstrates excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Works independently with a strong sense of focus, task-oriented, non-judgmental, open personal qualities, and clear sense of boundaries
Working Conditions And Physical Requirements
- OSHA Category 3 – Involves no regular exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues, and tasks that involve exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues are not a condition of employment.
Pay
$70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
