Lead Generator

Earn $25–30+ per hour (hourly and commission) as a Lead Generator with Mountain Home Services. Work onsite at partner retail locations in Layton and/or Ogden, greeting and engaging customers face-to-face to schedule service appointments for residential HVAC, plumbing, and electrical maintenance & replacement.

About the role

This is a part-time role (20–25 hours/week) suited for motivated, sales-driven individuals who enjoy working with the public and have a competitive spirit. Ideal for retirees, college students, or anyone seeking flexible or part-time work. You’ll operate from the comfort of a retail store rather than door-to-door.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers in conversation and schedule appointments for Sales Consultants to visit their homes and provide estimates.
• Explain features and benefits of products and services while gathering customer needs.
• Build rapport with store leadership teams.
• Attend required monthly meetings and trainings.
• Represent the company professionally, honestly, and ethically.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to stand, walk, or sit for 4–8 hours at a time.
• Comfortable initiating and sustaining conversations.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable transportation and daily access to a smartphone with email and text.
• Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Qualifications

• Retail sales experience is highly preferred.
• No prior HVAC or water treatment experience required—training is provided.
