Key Responsibilities

  • Translate business problem specifications into detailed programming instructions.
  • Offer technical guidance and work direction to a team of software development engineers (SDEs), consultants, and offshore resources using the Agile process methodology.
  • Create and execute test transactions, making revisions as necessary.
  • Analyze organizational needs and goals to develop and implement application systems.
  • Maintain documentation to record program development and revisions.
  • Monitor the operational efficiency of existing application systems.
  • Review, analyze, and modify programming systems, including coding, testing, debugging, and installing for large-scale systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new systems, provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for application issues, and stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to recommend improvements.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Electrical and Electronics, Mechanical Engineering or related field (will accept foreign education equivalent).
  • Ten (10) years of experience performing actuarial modelling with PolySystems modelling software.
  • Experience driving Merger and Acquisition (M&A) initiatives, including Administrative/ Product Spin off.
  • Experience developing and deploying software development methodologies, version control, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
  • Experience using databases, data warehousing, and big data technologies, including Databricks, Azure Data factory, Python, and Power BI to handle large volumes of data, ensuring data integrity, and leveraging data analytics tools to derive insights that drive business decisions.
  • Experience designing and maintaining the overall IT architecture of the applications to ensure alignment with business goals within a large-scale organizational setting.
  • Experience building, delivering and operating complex, cloud-based systems development lifecycle, including code management and release pipelines in Azure DevOps.
  • Experience performing software development and building enterprise-scale distributed web and mobile applications.
  • Experience managing and supporting various functionalities in the Vantage One product, including policy administration, claims processing, billing, and customer service.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Location Expectation: This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of 3 days per week in office.
  • The expected salary range for this position is $153,146 - $175,600.
  • This role may also be eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation and stock-based long-term incentives.
