Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical lead for the development team, driving technical strategy, design decisions, code reviews, and adherence to development standards.
- Partner with architects and project leadership to translate requirements into effective technical solutions and implementation plans.
- Design, develop, and maintain applications using C# and the .NET stack, including .NET MVC framework, .NET Core, Web APIs, and related technologies.
- Understand complex database design and support database migration.
- Apply strong knowledge and experience with SQL Server (writing SQL/T‑SQL, stored procedures, UDFs, triggers, etc.).
- Build and enhance web applications using modern client‑side technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, CSS, jQuery, Bootstrap, and TypeScript.
- Build and maintain secure CI/CD YAML‑based pipelines using Azure DevOps, PowerShell, and cloud‑native deployment tools.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across applications, databases, and server tiers.
- Implement unit testing using NUnit, MSTest, or similar frameworks.
- Collaborate with Agile teams and participate in sprint planning, stand‑ups, backlog refinement, and continuous improvement activities.
- Mentor and guide junior‑level resources on the team.
- Other duties may be assigned as necessary to meet business needs.
Requirements
- U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- At least 7 years of experience developing and supporting applications using the Microsoft .NET technology stack.
- Experience administering and troubleshooting applications hosted on Microsoft Windows environments, and managing Azure DevOps pipelines and deployments.
- Strong customer service/client‑facing skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong problem‑solving skills.
- Desired: Microsoft certification – Azure Fundamentals or related cloud certifications.
