Lead Frontend Developer - LATAM Remote

About the role

The Lead Frontend Developer will lead technical teams in creating dynamic user interfaces and ensuring a seamless user experience across web applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead development teams in an agile context
• Decompose and assign work to team members
• Remove blockers, pull developers out of blind alleys, and maintain forward momentum
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, and TypeScript/JavaScript with extensive experience in React
• Experience with Redux Toolkit, React Query, Node.js/Koa, and frontend build toolchains
• Strong understanding of responsive design and frontend performance optimization techniques
• Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating front-end with back-end services
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git
• Collaborate effectively in an Agile environment and contribute to team discussions
• Experience with UI/UX principles and working closely with designers to create engaging interfaces

Requirements

• Typically 6-10 years of professional experience
• Demonstrated experience as a technical leader with teamwide impact
• Experience leading development teams in an agile context
• Experience decomposing and assigning work to team members
