About the role

The Lead Front End Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality web applications using Angular or React frameworks. This role requires a deep understanding of modern web development practices and technologies, including but not limited to HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and related libraries and tools.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement user interfaces that are intuitive, responsive, and visually appealing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, backend developers, and product managers to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
  • Optimize performance and maintain code quality through continuous testing and refactoring.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in front-end development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in front-end software engineering.
  • Proven experience working with Angular or React frameworks.
  • Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Qualifications

  • Experience with front-end performance optimization techniques.
  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs and familiarity with server-side technologies.
  • Understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first approach.

Skills

  • Proficiency in modern front-end development tools and libraries.
  • Experience with front-end testing frameworks like Jest or Mocha.
  • Good understanding of accessibility standards and best practices.
