About the role

As a Lead Guest Services Associate at Marriott Vacations Worldwide (MVW), you will assist in providing our Owners and guests with experiences and events to create memorable vacation memories in a supportive, friendly, and beautiful work environment.

Responsibilities

• Check Owners and guests into their villas, reviewing property amenities, services, hours of operation, and local areas of interest and activities.
• Actively listen and respond positively to guests' questions, concerns, and requests; contact other departments to resolve guest issues.
• Identify and explain room features to guests (e.g., use of room key, ice and vending areas).
• Follow up with Owners and guests to ensure their requests or problems are met to their satisfaction.
• Answer telephone calls and route them to the proper department as applicable.
• Ensure outstanding requests or problems from the previous day receive priority and are resolved.
• Assist management with training new associates or hourly duties as needed.
• Welcome and greet guests, anticipating and addressing their needs.
• Interact with colleagues and guests professionally and promptly.
• Contribute to team goals while following company policies and safety procedures.

Requirements

• Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days.
• Able to reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, and stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull items weighing up to 25 lbs without assistance.
• Position may require background and drug screening contingent on company policy and legal requirements.
