Lead FPGA Engineer

About the role

The Lead FPGA Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing complex digital systems using Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs).

Responsibilities

• Design and implement high-performance FPGA-based systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software engineers and hardware designers
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of FPGA designs
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in FPGA technology and contribute to the team's knowledge base

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in FPGA design and development
• Experience with Verilog or VHDL programming languages
• Strong understanding of digital logic design principles
• Knowledge of FPGA architectures and tools such as Xilinx Vivado or Altera Quartus

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in circuit simulation and analysis tools

Skills

• Expertise in FPGA design and development
• Experience with hardware description languages (HDL)

Pay

Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 annually, depending on experience.

Schedule

Full-time position, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
