At Maverik, we don’t just offer jobs, we offer adventures. As a Lead Food Service Team Member, you’ll lead by example, support your team, and help deliver fresh food and exceptional customer service. You’ll keep food service operations running smoothly while ensuring the kitchen is clean, organized, and ready to serve. You’ll be a key part of the team that brings Maverik’s food and great customer experience to life, leading by example, supporting teammates, and building leadership skills while helping create an experience customers remember.

Responsibilities

• Model and reinforce Maverik’s GET (Greet, Engage, and Thank) customer service expectations, helping Team Members consistently deliver a friendly, welcoming, and exceptional customer experience.
• Be a leader and team player as you conduct orientation and training for Team Members, ensuring proper and safe food preparation.
• Provide friendly, helpful customer service and create a positive experience for every customer.
• Prepare and cook delicious Maverik Bonfire food items by following our carefully crafted recipes and maintaining enticing food displays.

• Flexible Schedule: Our 24/7 stores require your flexibility, including potentially working nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Food Safety Certification: Must obtain and maintain the food safety certification required by the applicable state or local jurisdiction.

Physical Requirements

This position involves frequent standing, walking, handling, and horizontal reaching. It also requires reaching above shoulder level and below the waist, as well as activities such as bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, and pushing. The role may involve lifting, carrying, or moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Must be able to work safely with equipment that generates and maintains high temperatures, while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.

Pay

Starting pay: $15.52/hr - $17.52/hr.

This is a full-time opportunity. Our 24/7 stores require flexibility, including potentially working nights, weekends, and holidays.
