Lead Foodservice Team Member

About the role

You’ll be a key part of the team that brings Maverik’s food and great customer experience to life. You’ll lead by example, support your teammates, and build leadership skills while helping create an experience customers remember.

Pay

Starting pay: $14.88 – $16.88 per hour.

Schedule

Full-time position. Our 24/7 stores require flexibility, including potentially working nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Champion GET: Model and reinforce Maverik’s GET (Greet, Engage, and Thank) customer service expectations, helping Team Members consistently deliver a friendly, welcoming, and exceptional customer experience.
• Leadership & Team Support: Be a leader and team player as you conduct orientation and training for Team Members, ensuring proper and safe food preparation.
• Renowned Customer Service: Provide friendly, helpful customer service and create a positive experience for every customer.
• Food Preparation & Display: Prepare and cook delicious Maverik Bonfire food items by following our carefully crafted recipes and maintaining enticing food displays.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Hardworking and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment; multitasking is essential.
• Flexible schedule availability for nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must obtain and maintain the food safety certification required by the applicable state or local jurisdiction.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, handling, and horizontal reaching.
• Reaching above shoulder level and below the waist.
• Bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, and pushing.
• Lifting, carrying, or moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work safely with equipment that generates and maintains high temperatures while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
