Lead Foodservice Team Member

About the role

As a Lead Food Service Team Member, you’ll lead by example, support your team, and help deliver fresh food and exceptional customer service. You’ll keep food service operations running smoothly while ensuring the kitchen is clean, organized, and ready to serve. You’ll be a key part of the team that brings Maverik’s food and great customer experience to life, building leadership skills while helping create an experience customers remember.

Responsibilities

• Model and reinforce Maverik’s GET (Greet, Engage, and Thank) customer service expectations, helping Team Members consistently deliver a friendly, welcoming, and exceptional customer experience.
• Be a leader and team player as you conduct orientation and training for Team Members, ensuring proper and safe food preparation.
• Provide friendly, helpful customer service and create a positive experience for every customer.
• Prepare and cook delicious Maverik Bonfire food items by following our carefully crafted recipes and maintaining enticing food displays.

Requirements

• Must be 18+ to apply.
• Hardworking & Busy: thrive in a fast-paced environment and able to multitask.
• Flexible Schedule: ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required by 24/7 stores.
• Food Safety Certification: must obtain and maintain the food safety certification required by the applicable state or local jurisdiction.
• Physical Requirements: frequent standing, walking, handling, horizontal reaching; reaching above shoulder level and below the waist; bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, pushing; lifting, carrying, or moving objects up to 50 pounds; ability to work safely with high‑temperature equipment while wearing appropriate PPE.

Pay

Starting pay: $15.52/hr – $17.52/hr.

Schedule

Full‑time position; schedule may include nights, weekends, and holidays to support 24/7 store operations.
