Lead Food Service Worker

Lead Food Service Worker needed for a school food service program in the Piscataway, NJ area.

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, day shift
• No weekends or holidays
• Summers off

Responsibilities

• Lead a kitchen team in a fast-paced environment
• Train staff as needed
• Possible travel within the school district
• Follow recipes according to the NSLP guidelines
• Ensure all safety and food handling procedures are followed at all times
• Enforce the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times
• Manage inventory and ordering
• Operate POS/cash register

Requirements

• Food service/cooking experience
• K-12 experience a plus
• Must be able to obtain proper documentation to work in NJ schools
• ServSafe® certified a plus
