Lead Food Service Worker needed for a school food service program in the Piscataway, NJ area.
Schedule
- Monday through Friday, day shift
- No weekends or holidays
- Summers off
Responsibilities
- Lead a kitchen team in a fast-paced environment
- Train staff as needed
- Possible travel within the school district
- Follow recipes according to the NSLP guidelines
- Ensure all safety and food handling procedures are followed at all times
- Enforce the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times
- Manage inventory and ordering
- Operate POS/cash register
Requirements
- Food service/cooking experience
- K-12 experience a plus
- Must be able to obtain proper documentation to work in NJ schools
- ServSafe® certified a plus
