Lead Food Service Assistant

Responsibilities

• Coordinate a small team in the dietary unit.
• Supervise and participate in serving meals, last-minute preparations and cooking, delivery and pickup of food, and/or tray assembly.
• Participate in cleaning and sanitizing the preparation, kitchen, dining areas, and/or other assigned areas.
• Lift, carry, and transfer heavy food products and/or garbage.

Requirements

• 2 years of work experience in the dietary field and/or leading a dietary team is preferred. 0–1 year of work experience required.
• Experience in a long-term care facility is desirable.
• Must be free of diseases that may be transmitted in the performance of job responsibilities per state and local requirements during the stage of communicability.
• Ability to work for continuous periods in high-temperature areas.

Pay

Hourly Rate: $17.22 (Shift differential available)
