Lead Fleet Maintenance Technician - Visalia

About the role

The Fleet Maintenance Technician Lead position is available in Visalia, CA. This role is performed onsite at one of the Company’s operational facilities, with a shift from Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. The hourly pay range for this position is $32.31 - $48.46 per hour, with potential for shifting differentials, overtime pay, or other forms of additional compensation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and contribute to a safe work environment by adhering to policies and procedures as outlined in the Company Safety Program.
• Maintain, and provide routine preventive maintenance, repairs, and inspections to fleet trailing equipment.
• Supervise multiple trailer maintenance technicians.
• Work with Safety department leadership to understand and ensure that all safety programs and procedures are followed.
• May be required to use a personal vehicle or Company vehicle to conduct business for the Company.
• Perform any other task or assignment as deemed necessary by the organization.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED.
• College degree is strongly preferred.
• Five + years of experience as a semi-trailer maintenance technician.
• Three years of leadership experience.
• Knowledge of semi-trailer and conveyor systems and controls.
• Basic understanding of industrial electrical and industrial controls.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures including 90-day bit inspections.

Qualifications

Pay

The hourly pay range for this position is $32.31 - $48.46 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, internal equity, geographic location, and other job-related factors.

Schedule

This shift is set for Monday - Friday, 6:00AM - 2:30PM. Hours are subject to change in support of the organization.
