Lead Firmware Engineer

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain firmware targets for new products.
• Adapt and validate firmware for new hardware platforms.
• Work in a C/C++ firmware environment similar to EDK2/UEFI.
• Show strong understanding of embedded C, memory management, and register-level programming.
• Have experience with peripheral interfaces such as SPI, I2C, UART, GPIO, etc.
• Ability to debug firmware using JTAG, debuggers, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
• Work closely with hardware engineers on board bring-up and HW/SW co-debugging.
• Perform daily firmware builds and validations.
• Support firmware releases and deployment activities.
• Publish release notes and track firmware changes.

Pay

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $125,000. Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience.
