Lead Financial & Business Analyst - Wealth Management
About the role
Guardian is seeking a resolute, motivated individual to join our team as a Lead Financial Business Analyst for Client Solutions and Wealth Management (CSWM). This role leads the development of analytics and financial planning initiatives that drive actionable insights and support strategic decision-making across the CSWM business. The Lead Financial Business Analyst partners closely with business leaders to deliver robust financial models, forecasts, and performance analyses, ensuring the organization achieves its financial and operational objectives.
Responsibilities
- Analyze business performance, financial results, and key metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Lead the creation and maintenance of financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives for CSWM.
- Proactively collaborate with subject matter experts across the business to acquire knowledge necessary to build and interpret analytics.
- Prepare analytical illustrations to be shared with CSWM leaders and business area SMEs.
- Continuously improve analytical processes and tools to enhance efficiency and insight generation.
- Independently locate, reconcile, and validate data, flagging and resolving issues before they become problems.
- Translate complex topics into clear, non-technical terms for stakeholders, iterating with leadership and subject-matter experts to refine the value of analysis.
Qualifications
- 5+ years’ experience developing and presenting financial and business analytics.
- 5+ years’ experience analyzing financial statements and interpreting results.
- Advanced analytical aptitude and drive to acquire knowledge/context necessary to perfect analysis.
- Experience working across multiple business areas and/or lines of business (e.g., sales, finance, life, disability), demonstrating knowledge of the concepts, processes, and datasets inherent to those environments.
- Advanced experience with Excel and other data/analytics tools, and comfort working with large, complex datasets.

Schedule
Hybrid role - 3 days in a Guardian office located in Holmdel, NJ; Bethlehem, PA; Hudson Yards, NYC; Pittsfield, MA; or Boston, MA. 2 days working from home.
Pay
Salary Range: $103,450.00 - $169,960.00. The salary for this position will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
