Lead, Finance & Record-to-Report (R2R) Solutions

For our client, we are seeking a Lead, Finance & Record-to-Report (R2R) Solutions to join the team of a leader in the Food & Beverages space. This remote leadership role will drive finance systems strategy and execution across record-to-report and core finance processes. The selected professional will partner closely with finance, technology, and operational stakeholders to modernize global finance capabilities, strengthen controls, and improve automation across the enterprise. This is a highly visible opportunity to shape scalable cloud-based finance solutions that support manufacturing, inventory, and intercompany operations. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $119,040 – $163,680 annually Responsibilities Configure and support core FI modules including GL, AP, AR, Banking, and Asset Accounting. Design solutions for Product Costing to track manufacturing costs and production variances. Develop and optimize intercompany processes, ensuring process harmonization under a clean core SaaS architecture. Translate executive finance priorities into automated cloud capabilities and own integration with the company's central finance environment. Lead and mentor the Finance Functional Analyst, aligning resources to initiatives based on complexity. Deliver financial initiatives via SAP Activate, driving AI adoption for automation and anomaly detection. Govern AMS support against SLA/KPI metrics and enforce internal financial control standards. Qualifications 8+ years of ERP experience in financial system design and operations, including leadership experience with functional analysts. Extensive hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance (FI/CO) solutions; Public Cloud experience is a plus. Proven understanding of Central Finance replication mechanics and AIF error handling. 5+ years in CPG or Food & Beverage sectors, with a focus on product costing and inventory valuation. Experience delivering projects using SAP Activate and tools like Jira and Monday.com, with AI automation knowledge. Strong knowledge of enterprise financial controls and internal control standards. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field. Benefits 401(k) plan enrollment for eligible employees.
