Lead Field Technician, REMOTE

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily activities of field technicians on various job sites.
• Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure work meets quality and safety standards.
• Provide on-the-job training, mentoring, and technical guidance to field technicians.
• Escalate complex technical or operational issues to management when necessary.
• Perform advanced installation, maintenance, and repair of systems, equipment, or infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems in the field.
• Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and project documentation.
• Ensure all installations comply with company standards, manufacturer specifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Serve as the primary on-site contact for customers and internal stakeholders.
• Cook up equipment, materials, and tools required for field work.
• Track project progress and provide status updates to management.
• Ensure work is completed on schedule and within scope.
• Review completed work for quality and accuracy.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within field operations.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with field services, hardware deployments, and multi-site rollouts.
• Experience leading technicians or serving as the senior technical resource in the field.
• Solid working knowledge of SCCM imaging, Windows device configuration, and endpoint deployment.
• Ability to walk into a site, assess what is needed, and take control of execution.
• Comfortable operating in fast-paced, high-visibility environments.
• Strong communication skills with both technicians and client-facing site contacts.
• Professional presence, sound judgment, and ability to work independently.
• Ability to lift up to 30lbs as needed and work in various environmental conditions.
• Valid driver’s license with ability to travel to job sites.

Pay

Min USD $36.78/Hr. Max USD $47.08/Hr.
