Lead Field Service Technician
Responsibilities
- Performs mechanical and electrical installation or modification to Intelligrated & Legacy equipment
- New equipment commissioning and integration
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and PLC issues
- Modify, adjust, or develop robotic and PLC application code
- Complete various weekly reports
- Train and supports resident technicians
- Travel 85% throughout the Southeast region, and occasionally to other regions
Requirements
- High school diploma (or equivalent) and 5 years of experience
- Associate’s Degree in Engineering and 2 years of field experience
- 2+ years of strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical aptitude
- 2+ years of experience with conveyor systems and high voltage electrical motors (VFDs, Servo, etc)
- 2+ years of experience utilizing MS Office products and Operating Systems (i.e. Windows 11)
- Valid Driver's license
- Reliable transportation to a major airport (Must be within a One Hour commute of nearest airport)
Qualifications
- Willingness to travel 85% of the time throughout the Southeast region, and occasionally to other regions
Skills
- PLC Programming skills
- Diagnostic proficiency with one of the types of PLC (Modicon, PLC5, PLC500)
- Working experience of electrical wiring and reading of schematics
- Prior Customer Service Experience
- Ability to work independently (self-starter) and with teams
