About the Role
Veolia's Water Technology Business seeks a Shift Lead Field Service Representative to provide expert technical support, maintain customer site relations, optimize site operations, and lead local field teams. This role involves troubleshooting complex technical issues, managing projects, and mentoring Operators to ensure proficient completion of operations and level 1 maintenance services.
Responsibilities
- Respond to and resolve highly complex technical issues and service calls.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting, diagnostics, and develop maintenance strategies for a wide range of equipment and systems.
- Mentor a team in conducting level 1 preventive maintenance, system optimization, and performance tuning tasks.
- Manage and coordinate technical projects, including installations, upgrades, and system integrations.
- Provide technical guidance and training to Operators.
- Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and subject matter experts to resolve complex technical challenges.
- Accurately document service activities and maintain detailed records.
- Maintain account management activities using Veolia’s digital tool suite (ServiceMax, Salesforce, MaintainX, Gensuite, InSight).
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Indirectly supervise Field Service Representatives (FSR) and Operators assigned to the shift.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., electronics, computer science, chemical engineering, or mechanical engineering) or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in a field service, plant production, or technical support role.
- Expert knowledge of electronics, chemistry, mechanics, computer systems, and related technologies.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities.
- Ability to train and mentor a team of Operators.
- Project management skills and experience are preferred.
Working Conditions
This is an hourly, overtime-eligible position following the Dupont schedule.
