Lead Field Service Electronics Technician

About the role

Eaton’s Critical Power Solutions (CPS) Division is currently seeking a Lead Field Service Electronics Technician to join our team of world-class customer service professionals. This position is based in the Toledo, OH area. This is a remote position based from a home office with daily travel to customer sites and occasional overnight stays. Company vehicle provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site support, offering emergency repairs, start-up services, and preventative maintenance to ensure peak performance and reliability.
• Partner with customers as trusted advisors, delivering innovative solutions and technical expertise that safeguard operations and maximize uptime.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Two (2) years of power systems, battery technologies and/or electronics experience including relevant coursework and internship experience.
• This role is designated as a Regular Driver per Eaton’s Driver Safety Policy and requires a current, unrestricted driver’s license along with a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record.
• Candidates will be subject to a motor vehicle record check upon hire.
• Must undergo and pass customer entrance requirements as needed, which may include, but is not limited to, periodic background checks and drug screenings.
• Daily travel to customer sites is required, utilizing an Eaton-provided fleet vehicle.
• Support for customer needs outside the immediate region within the USA for a minimum of three (3) weeks per quarter.
• Must perform physical tasks as needed, including assisted lifting/carrying 50+ lbs., pushing/pulling, standing for extended periods, climbing, squatting, bending, kneeling, and driving long distances.

Pay

The expected annual salary range for this role is $69,000 - $101,000 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
