What You’ll Do

Eaton’s Critical Power Solutions (CPS) Division is seeking a Lead Field Service Electronics Technician to join our team of world-class customer service professionals. This position is based in the greater Dallas/Ft. Worth, TX area. This is a remote position based from a home office with daily travel to customer sites and occasional overnight stays. Company vehicle provided.

Anticipated salary: $69,000 - $101,000 a year. Overtime eligible.

As a Field Service Electronics Technician you will provide on-site support, offering emergency repairs, start-up services, and preventative maintenance to ensure peak performance and reliability. Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
  • Two (2) years of power systems, battery technologies and/or electronics experience including relevant coursework and internship experience.

This role could be the next step in your career if you demonstrate the following experience:

  • Associate’s degree in electrical or electronics from an accredited institution, current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree engineering program at an accredited institution or applicable military training and experience.
  • Three (3)+ years experience working with power systems, battery technologies and/or electronics.
  • Electrical Technology Certificate.
  • Ability to read electrical component schematic drawings and apply troubleshooting, testing, and repair techniques.
  • Strong understanding of electrical theory, battery systems, and single- and three-phase circuits.

  • Strictly follow company/customer safety rules for a secure work environment.
  • Collaborate with Field Service Technicians, taking direction from on-site leads.
