What You’ll Do

Eaton’s Critical Power Solutions (CPS) Division is seeking a Lead Field Service Electronics Technician to join their team. The position is based in the greater Beaver, PA area and is a remote position with daily travel to customer sites and occasional overnight stays. Eaton’s CPS Division designs and manufactures advanced UPS systems, batteries, and power distribution solutions to keep businesses running in demanding environments. As a Field Service Electronics Technician, you will provide on-site support, offering emergency repairs, start-up services, and preventative maintenance to ensure peak performance and reliability.

This role involves partnering with customers as trusted advisors, delivering innovative solutions and technical expertise to safeguard operations and maximize uptime. Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution
  • Two (2) years of power systems, battery technologies, and/or electronics experience, including relevant coursework and internship experience
  • Associate’s degree in electrical or electronics from an accredited institution, current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree engineering program at an accredited institution, or applicable military training and experience
  • Three (3)+ years experience working with power systems, battery technologies, and/or electronics
  • Electrical Technology Certificate
  • Ability to read electrical component schematic drawings and apply troubleshooting, testing, and repair techniques
  • Strong understanding of electrical theory, battery systems, and single- and three-phase circuits
  • Strictly follow company/customer safety rules for a secure work environment
  • Collaborate with Field Service Technicians, taking direction from on-site leads
