Novant Health is seeking an experienced Family Medicine Physician for an exciting new opportunity located in Sherrills Ford, NC. We’re excited to announce that we will be expanding our remarkable primary care services to the Lake Norman community!

This new location will open in late 2026 with a team of one physician, one APP, and a top tier staff with additional support from Novant Health leadership. Additional providers will be added as we get established. The office will be open Monday-Friday from 8:00-5:00 with minimal call duties.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of the new Family Medicine practice in the Lake Norman area.
• Collaborate with the team to provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients in a busy, newly established clinic setting.
• Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with patients, colleagues, and community stakeholders.

Requirements

• MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification in Family Medicine.
• At least 1-2 years of experience in Family Medicine.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Experience in managing a diverse patient population.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor junior physicians.

Pay

Novant Health offers a 2-year salary guarantee, starting bonus, and relocation allowance.
