Lead EVS Tech

Overview

The Lead EVS Tech is responsible for leading & overseeing activities of Environmental Services Techs and providing a safe and hygienic environment for the benefit of patients, visitors, and staff. The Lead role will accept supervisory responsibilities as requested and assists with coordinating hospital throughput and efficiency as it relates to timely and quality-driven patient room cleans.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1 year of environmental services experience
• Other Skills/ Knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Education: High School Diploma/GED
• Prior lead or supervisory experience
• Licensure/ Certification: Certificate in Non-Acute Care Cleaning (CNACC) certification, Certified Healthcare Environmental Technician (CHEST) certification or Certified Surgical Cleaning Technician (CSCT) certification

Pay

Expected pay for this position is $18.27 - $20.29/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity.

Schedule

This is an Hourly position. 2.25 3rd shift differential
