Lead EVS

Job Summary

Supervises employees’ work activities to ensure clean, orderly and attractive conditions of the hospital. Coordinates with other departments to meet department and hospital goals. This role supports the patient experience at Medical City Heart & Spine Hospitals, which provide specialized advanced cardiovascular and spine care.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily housekeeping operations to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Ensure compliance with hospital standards and infection‑control protocols.
• Coordinate with clinical and support departments to align cleaning schedules with patient care needs.
• Lead, train, and evaluate EVS staff to achieve performance and quality goals.
• Monitor supplies and equipment, ordering as necessary to sustain operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years’ experience in a housekeeping capacity in a hospital and/or healthcare facility.
• Strong math, reasoning, and organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to speak and understand written and oral English.
