A Brief Overview
Assists management with daily operations of the Environmental Services Department. Provides support across all three shifts, 7 days per week. Fulfills supervisory capacities in the supervisor's absence.
What You Will Do
- Interact with coworkers, patients and visitors with compassion, courtesy and a professional customer focused manner
- Instruct and train employees in use of cleaning materials and equipment
- Act on behalf of supervisor
- Maintain the highest possible quality standards for the Hospital
- Aid with scheduling and work assignments
- Provide input on employee evaluations
- Ensure staff is compliant with routine procedures for chemical use, cleaning and care of equipment
- Inspect and evaluate the physical condition of the hospital. Recommends projects, painting, improvements or repairs to improve appearance and efficiency
- Control use of supplies, equipment and personnel to optimum efficiency
- Observe staff at work to ensure instructions and safety rules are complied with
- Aid in special projects and research to update techniques or study cost savings to improve sanitation or efficiency
- Attend meetings and seminars to further enhance professional skills
- Keep written record of rooms and other areas of the hospital that have been cleaned
- Ensure all waste is properly disposed
Education Qualifications
A High School Diploma Or equivalent required
Experience Qualifications
- Minimum one year of experience as an Environmental Services Associate required

Pay Range
Pay Range: $21.50/hour - $24.73/hour
