Lead Estimator

Produces bid proposals and prepares buy-outs. - Leads estimating team and supervises preparation of project cost estimates. - Reviews and approves bid packages and pricing. - Collaborates with project managers and engineers to clarify scope and technical requirements. - Maintains cost databases and historical project data. - Identifies cost-saving opportunities and value engineering solutions. - Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Engineering, or related field. - 7–10 years of estimating experience in rail or heavy construction. - Strong knowledge of construction costs, materials, and labor. - Leadership, communication, and analytical skills. - Works indoors, with some onsite/outdoor work. - Frequently sits, stands, walks, reads, writes, and uses a computer keyboard. - May be exposed to harsh weather conditions including very hot and very cold weather.
