Lead Estimator

About the role

Lead Estimators are responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates for construction projects. They work closely with project managers to ensure accurate budgeting and timely completion of projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare comprehensive cost estimates for construction projects
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure project stays within budget
• Review and analyze project specifications to determine material and labor costs
• Communicate with clients to understand project requirements and scope
• Update project budgets and schedules as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in construction estimating
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience working with subcontractors and suppliers
• Knowledge of construction industry standards and regulations
