LEAD EQUIPMENT/ TRUCK MECHANIC (KALISPELL)

Responsibilities

  • Help mentor and train members in the shop.
  • Maintain and repair construction trucks and equipment, including hydraulic repair, brake work, electrical repairs and welding.
  • Perform and/or assist with significant maintenance and repairs on trucks, trailers, and all types of equipment to ensure they are in safe and suitable working condition.
  • Complete all paperwork that may be necessary.
  • Assure all safety policies and procedures are followed to prevent any and all unsafe actions, processes, and behaviors observed.
  • Assist in PM scheduling, parts ordering, and scheduling needed repairs.
  • Must have own tools.
  • Other duties assigned as needed.

Requirements

  • Previous mechanical experience on class 8 trucks, trailers and equipment.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Welding and fabrication experience desirable.
  • Clean driving record.
