Responsibilities
- Help mentor and train members in the shop.
- Maintain and repair construction trucks and equipment, including hydraulic repair, brake work, electrical repairs and welding.
- Perform and/or assist with significant maintenance and repairs on trucks, trailers, and all types of equipment to ensure they are in safe and suitable working condition.
- Complete all paperwork that may be necessary.
- Assure all safety policies and procedures are followed to prevent any and all unsafe actions, processes, and behaviors observed.
- Assist in PM scheduling, parts ordering, and scheduling needed repairs.
- Must have own tools.
- Other duties assigned as needed.
Requirements
- Previous mechanical experience on class 8 trucks, trailers and equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Welding and fabrication experience desirable.
- Clean driving record.
