What You'll Do
- Lead of hourly equipment maintenance technicians - this is a hands-on working role
- Aid Supervisor with workforce management: day-to-day line support; in-house equipment maintenance repair work, creation, and completion of work orders
- Broadcast a Root Cause Analysis mindset to drive the team towards continuous and reliable improvements
- Aid in standard development and creation of work procedures and methods
- Use Flux system to monitor dispatch etiquette and technician compliance
- Work with Process and Equipment engineering and other cross-functional groups to resolve maintenance issues, improve equipment reliability, review procedures, and minimize equipment downtime
- Follow all aspects of Maintenance Safety protocol (LOTO, 5-S, Arc Flash, etc.), to ensure that the equipment maintenance team operates safely at all times, always leading by example
What You'll Bring
- Minimum level 4 Equipment Maintenance Technician
- Currently working in Drive Unit business unit
- Demonstrated capabilities of leadership
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
- Areas of specialization may include one or more of the following: electrical/electronics, mechanical/machining, or automation/PLC/robotics
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex automation, conveyance, and electromechanical systems
- Able to read and interpret basic mechanical drawings and electrical schematics
Essential Physical Demands
- Ability to perform physically demanding work for extended periods of time, up to 12 hours a day
- Frequently and repetitively, lift, push and carry up to 50 lbs., including the ability to carry 20 lbs. up and down stairs
- Frequently and repetitively, bend, lift and reach to install parts
- Stoop, lay, bend, reach, squat, kneel, crouch, twist and crawl for extended periods of time, including up to 12 hours/day
- Climb and maintain balance on ladders, scaffolding or other high structures
- Ability to find issues in a work process and receive safety signals using sight, touch, and hearing
- Wearing Personal Protective Equipment, including but not limited to: safety glasses, safety shoes, bump cap and adhering to prescribed safety rules and guidelines
