Lead Engineer LIMS - LabVantage

About the role

We are seeking a highly experienced Lead LIMS Engineer with deep expertise in LabVantage LIMS to lead the design, implementation, enhancement, integration, and support of enterprise laboratory information management solutions within a regulated Life Sciences environment. The ideal candidate will serve as a technical leader responsible for driving LIMS strategy, solution architecture, platform governance, and global delivery initiatives across R&D, Quality Control, Manufacturing, and Regulatory laboratories.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical lead and subject matter expert for LabVantage LIMS across the enterprise.
• Define LIMS architecture, solution design standards, development practices, and governance frameworks.
• Lead end-to-end delivery of LabVantage enhancement initiatives, implementations, upgrades, and migration projects.
• Drive platform modernization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Review and approve technical designs, configurations, customizations, and integration approaches.
• Partner closely with laboratory business stakeholders, quality organizations, enterprise architects, infrastructure teams, and external vendors to deliver scalable, compliant, and innovative laboratory solutions that support business growth and digital transformation initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with GxP and validation requirements.
• Lead large-scale LabVantage implementations, integrations, system modernization efforts, and global support teams.
