Lead Engineer

About the role

This role is for a security-focused engineer with 8+ years of experience. The ideal candidate should have both application security (appsec) and infrastructure security (infrasec) experience, and preferably some staff-level experience.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize, expand, and execute a backlog of application- and infra-related security items
• Reason through IT-related security concerns or controls at the organization level
• Work with Ruby, Python, TypeScript, and Go
• Support AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Ensure compliance with SOC2 and HIPAA standards

Requirements

• Experience with application security (appsec)
• Experience with infrastructure security (infrasec)
• Staff-level experience preferred
• 8+ years of experience

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience required

Skills

• Experience with Ruby, Python, TypeScript, and Go
• Experience with AWS, Azure, and GCP
• Experience with SOC2 and HIPAA compliance
