Lead Engineer 2 - Customer Application Engineering

Job Description

The role involves owning project control activities globally, driving consistent functional specifications, and executing common global processes for projects. It impacts departmental operations and involves planning and execution.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Prepare technical offers (Proposal and Estimate Analysis Sheet) for LATAM & MEA regions and NAM region, focusing on Dead Tank Circuit Breakers, spare parts, and assemblies.
• Develop technical solutions and configurations, perform performance and cost estimations, and document technical specifications and costing elements for further contract execution phases.
• Provide technical expertise and develop technical solutions as part of the pre-ITO process, interfacing with the commercial team.
• Gain in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and apply prior experience to execute policy and strategy.
• Understand key business drivers and integrate work with other teams to contribute to the area.
• Use judgment to propose solutions and solve straightforward tasks using technical skills and analytic thinking.

Required Qualifications

• Advanced experience in Engineering/Technology and Customer Application Engineering for roles outside the USA, or a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with at least 6 years of experience).
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience) for roles in the USA.
